Chartering an alumni association requires:
- Locating an advisor
- Locating 15 charter members (all must have left their community college in good standing, and 10 must have completed their program at leat 5 years ago)
- Selecting an alumni association name
- Identifiying association officers
- Establishing goals and objectives to guide the association
- Drafting bylaws
- Securing $200 for the chartering fee
- Completing the paperwork
- Planning an installation ceremony
